Always remember to celebrate with your team!

How often do you celebrate success with your team? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?


Why is it important to do so?



It develops the trust between you all, it motivates your team and you can use it to focus on what behaviours are important when doing their job. To reap the rewards (!) you must be consistent, do it regularly and be specific on what you are celebrating.



Ideas include:


⭐ fizz Friday - why not down tools at a particular day and time every week to talk through what has gone well and also not so well. It doesn't have to be real fizz, of course!

⭐ be specific in celebrating so avoid the plain 'well done'. How about 'Fred it was great when you helped Molly finish off that difficult task. Great teamwork and support of others.'

⭐ take time to say 'thank you' on a daily basis to your team after they have done something above and beyond required. Everyone will see regularly what it expected and understand what as a team you celebrate

⭐ celebrate birthdays, passing exams, completing a course - a piece of cake with a cuppa and a cheers done regularly becomes a great habit!
