I know that you understand being a leader can be time-consuming but with a few key actions you can engage and motivate your team.
What do you need help with?
For me being an inspirational leader is all about
being consistent with work standards
being consistent with their performance standards
focusing on getting these two elements right
ensure your team members really know what is expected of them ALL of the time
How do you do this?
from today draw a line in the sand and talk to every team member every time their work or performance standards are below your expectations
be clear on the standards you expect
coach them to exceed the standards
do this consistently every day
Within a month you will start seeing the difference in their behaviours. They will start owning their actions and the actions of others.

Remember being a leader is like being the trunk of a tree.
Your team are the leaves on the tree and to perform to the best of their ability they must grow big and strong. To do this means you have to be consistent day in day out.
This consistency demonstrates to your team that you are a strong leader. Once you have this established you will spend less time dealing with standards and more time being proactive! .
